While working for large, international Point of Sale solution providers, we were frustrated with our inability to provide solutions to small and mid-sized retail chains because POS technology was either too expensive at the time or because a cost-effective service and support mechanism was not available at that level of the industry. So when we formed Tri-City Retail Systems, we based our company's foundation on the following mission statement:
